WHY I’M RUNNING:

I see an exciting future for the Libertarian Party, and I want to help make it happen.

I became heavily involved in the LP in recent years because I felt that the LP was ready to become much, much more than a 'minor party' held back at the margins of American politics.  I saw increased professionalism, focus, pragmatism with principle, and a willingness to do the hard work to build the Party into a major force.  In a short time, I feel that I've made a difference, in an organization that is 'going places' -- and I'm ready to do more for the LP.  More...

Personal computer industry pioneer:

• Founder of VisiCorp, marketers of the first electronic spreadsheet program, VisiCalc
• 12 years in Silicon Valley, California; 8 years in Incline Village, Nevada
• Currently a startup "angel" investor and president of two small high-tech companies.

Libertarian Party recent work:

• Past Treasurer of the Nevada Libertarian Party; currently Member Judicial Committee
  And past Webmaster, Database coordinator; treasury increased ten-fold while in office
• Candidate for Nevada State Treasurer in 1998 -- received 10% of statewide vote
  Best vote total in Nevada and best vote percentage for State Treasurer nationwide
• Region 2 (California - Nevada) alternate delegate to the Libertarian National Committee
  Member, Bylaws Committee; Chair, Compensation Committee
• Political action for ballot access in the Nevada State Legislature
  With James Dan and Chris Azzaro, turned bill AB520 from a 'disaster' to a boon for the LP
